Heartland Dental Hygiene

Heartland Dental Hygiene is an evidence-based practice. Research showing the connection between oral health and overall health continues to increase, and the mouth is the 'gateway to health and wellness.' The practice has existed in Diamond Valley, Alberta, since 2007, formerly called Mountain View Dental Hygiene. Heartland Dental Hygiene opened its doors in June of 2022, with Corinne Story as the new owner. In February, 2025, the practice location moved to Sheep River Centre. Since its inception, the practice has emphasized evidence-based natural treatments and procedures. The practice aims to offer a safe and accepting space for patients to explore and discover their unique oral health/health needs; while at the same time, offers professional insights and evidence-based solutions in a non-authoritative manner. Heartland Dental Hygiene promotes biological/holistic dental hygiene, but clients may choose western medical approaches. It is a fee for service practice; dental insurance forms will be filled out to be mailed by clients to their insurance providers for reimbursement. The practice does not process direct billing to insurance providers, and payment is due at time of treatment.
