Maya Dental Clinic

Dr. Donna B. Rivera is the proud owner and head dentist of Maya Dental Clinic. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines. She passed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada in 2016 and practiced in Vancouver before opening Maya Dental Clinic-South in 2018 and Maya Dental Clinic-West in 2023. With over 20 years of experience, she prioritizes an enjoyable and stress-free dental experience and believes effective communication is key to treatment success.

Dr. Zainab Zeki graduated from the University of Alberta in 2015 and has been practicing dentistry since. She is a 10-year resident of the Summerside community and believes in supporting her community through her career. She focuses on patient comfort, awareness, and education, and is known for providing expert care and VIP treatment.

Known as Dr. Bel, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Centro Escolar University in 2002 and took further training in Oral Surgery. After earning her Canadian Dental License in 2020, she worked in Ontario before relocating to Alberta. She is a friendly and dedicated general dentist focused on evidence-based and conservative practice, with a passion for continuing education.

Dr. Shen grew up in South Edmonton and received her Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Alberta. She completed an AEGD postdoctoral program at Columbia University. She believes in continuing education and takes pride in delivering exceptional care, taking time to listen to her patients.

Dr. Susan grew up in Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta for her undergraduate studies, then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. She is committed to delivering comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Fluent in Mandarin, she values connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Moneza Khandwalla, originally from Kenya, earned her Doctor of Stomatology degree in Moscow and graduated with distinction from the University of Western Ontario. She believes oral health is key to overall well-being and provides compassionate, personalized care. She is passionate about staying current with dental advancements.

Dr. Julie Tran earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta. She gained experience in private practices in British Columbia, served as a part-time Clinical Instructor at UBC, and volunteered at non-profit clinics. She offers comprehensive dental services with a personalized touch.

Dr. Sarah Yang earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, followed by an Oral Surgery internship at McGill University. She is passionate about personalized, evidence-based care and fluent in Mandarin.

Dr. Irma Aguilera is a compassionate general dentist originally from Paraguay. She earned her dental degree from the National University of Asunción and practiced in Paraguay for eight years. She is known for her gentle approach and helps anxious patients feel comfortable. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
