Sedation is used for patients with anxiety, difficulty getting numb, or sensitive gag reflexes. Options include Nitrous Oxide, Oral Sedation, and IV Sedation, tailored to the patient. Dr. Caouette and team are specially trained and follow Alberta Dental Association regulations.

Treatments for TMJ dysfunction and teeth grinding are offered.

A denture can replace one tooth, several teeth, or a whole arch. Traditional full dentures are held by natural suction, while metal clasps may secure partial dentures. Implants can be used for support and retention.

A prosthetic one to three artificial teeth anchored in place with dental crowns on either side of the gap. It is bonded in place and cannot be removed.

Clear aligner treatment offered to straighten teeth discreetly.

At South Central Dentistry, we offer free take-home whitening kits to our patients after their first complete cleaning and exam with us. Take-home kits incorporate an easy-to-use gel that is worn in comfortable trays for half an hour every day for 2 weeks.

Children’s Dentistry is approached uniquely, looking for early indications of Oro-Facial development problems and X-Rays may be required to look for decay of permanent teeth under the gums. The team supports children as oral health advocates.

Fillings are used to repair decayed, chipped or broken teeth and can also improve cosmetic concerns. At South Central Dentistry, we only place composite resin (white fillings) which are strong, durable and blend with natural teeth.

Implants can replace a single tooth or many missing teeth. A small cylinder is placed into the jawbone to replicate the root, topped with a porcelain crown or bridge. Dentures can also be supported by implants, often 4 implants per denture.
