Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-fitted aligners to straighten your teeth without brackets or metal wires. During the consultation process, we leverage advanced 3D computer imaging technology to create a treatment plan based on your unique smile.
Invisalign clear plastic aligners are made to move your teeth by small increments as your treatment progresses. For two weeks, you will wear each aligner before replacing it with the next one in the series.
The duration of your treatment will be determined by your orthodontist, based on your specific needs. Factors include the shape of your bite, the misalignment of your teeth, and the amount of movement required.
BPA-free, USP Class VI medical-grade, high molecular weight polyurethane resins are used to make the Invisalign aligners.
Your Invisalign aligners won't need any adjustments or tightening - you'll just change to a new set of aligners every two weeks. Your orthodontist will schedule brief check-up appointments with you every 4 to 6 weeks.
The features of Invisalign include: A discreet, low profile appearance; Removable for eating, brushing and flossing; Do not require adjustment appointments; Smooth construction for enhanced comfort.
The severity of your case will determine the duration and cost of your treatment. In many cases, Invisalign's cost is comparable to that of traditional orthodontic treatment (braces).
You may find that Invisalign will work with your day-to-day life quite comfortably. You can remove your aligners when you need to brush, floss, drink or eat. This means you'll have absolutely no dietary restrictions, and that brushing and flossing are just as easy as ever.
Because Invisalign aligners are removable, you can take them out to eat. As a result, you'll have no dietary restrictions with Invisalign. To prevent staining, we recommend removing them when drinking beverages such as coffee, wine, or dark sodas.
