Dr. Brown reopens the tooth to access the root canal filling material, cleans the canals, and seals them. This is done when a tooth does not heal as expected after initial root canal treatment.

Guided endodontic regeneration uses tissue engineering to provide patients with necrotic, immature teeth a viable option to retain these otherwise hopeless teeth.

Endodontic surgery, including apicoectomy, can save an otherwise hopeless tooth. Dr. Brown uses microsurgical techniques with a 5-year healing rate over 90%.

Root canal treatment involves one or two visits during which Dr. Brown removes the affected tissue, cleans and seals the interior of the tooth, and restores it with a dental filling. A crown may be recommended to protect the tooth.

Dr. Brown provides care for chipped, fractured, dislodged, or knocked-out teeth, as well as root fractures and root resorption, with emphasis on immediate treatment.

Dr. Brown diagnoses and treats various types of cracked teeth, including craze lines, fractured cusps, cracked teeth, split teeth, and vertical root fractures, often using root canal treatment when the pulp is damaged.
