Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We actively welcome new families. The easiest first step is a comprehensive new-patient exam, where we take updated imaging and build a care plan around your household's schedule and budget. Call us or book online.
For general services — exams, hygiene, fillings, and standard preventive care — yes, we follow the Alberta Dental Fee Guide. We always provide a written estimate before treatment, which makes claim coordination smoother with your insurance and gives your household predictable budgeting for routine appointments throughout the year.
In many cases, yes. We routinely book back-to-back hygiene appointments for parents and kids to save trips. Let our front desk know how many are coming and we'll cluster the visits, including late Thursdays or select Saturday appointments.
Call us at the first opportunity and we'll triage by phone, then bring you in as soon as we can — often the same day. Because we offer surgical and IV sedation in-house, we usually resolve trauma or severe pain without sending you to an outside specialist or the hospital.
Cost varies depending on the complexity of your treatment. We’ll provide a personalized quote during your consultation.
Many dental insurance plans include orthodontic benefits that may apply to Angel Aligner. Check with your provider or let us help you review your coverage.
Treatment length depends on your case. Some patients see results in a few months, while more complex cases may take longer.
Aligners should be worn for 20–22 hours per day, and only removed for brushing, eating, or drinking anything other than water.
Unlike metal braces, Angel Aligners are removable and nearly invisible, allowing for more comfort, better hygiene, and no food restrictions.
Both Invisalign and Angel Aligners offer a discreet, comfortable way to straighten teeth without traditional braces—but there are some important differences between the two systems. Click here to learn more.
Angel Aligners are suitable for both teens and adults. Treatment is personalized for each patient’s needs and lifestyle.
It starts with a consultation at Nuvo Dental, including a digital scan, x-rays, and a discussion of your goals.
You’ll be fitted with a custom retainer and continue to visit us for follow-ups to ensure your smile stays aligned.
About the Practice
Our mission is simple: to provide exceptional dental care in a friendly, welcoming environment. We want every patient to feel confident about their smile and well-informed about their oral health. By focusing on education, prevention, and precision treatment, we strive to build lasting relationships that extend far beyond a single appointment.
Every smile is unique, and so is our approach. We believe in combining proven techniques with cutting-edge dental technology to deliver precise, efficient, and comfortable care. This includes digital X-rays for lower radiation exposure, intraoral cameras for better communication, and modern sterilization methods to ensure your safety.
We also focus on prevention as the foundation of oral health. By catching potential issues early, we can provide more conservative treatments, save you time and money, and keep your smile healthy for years to come.
