Immediate dentures are dentures that are inserted into a patient’s mouth immediately after their teeth are removed. This allows you to immediately begin learning to eat and speak with your new teeth.

Patients do not have to go through the embarrassment of not having teeth during the healing process. We can easily replicate the appearance of your natural teeth (if desired). The denture will act as a Band-Aid to protect tissues and reduce bleeding. Immediate dentures allow for better chewing, allowing for good nutrition during the healing process.

The aesthetics cannot be accurately experienced as the denture cannot always be tried in before the extractions. The dentures will require more appointments as they will need to be regularly relined temporarily due to the healing and resorption of your ridge and tissues. After an adequate healing time (usually 6 months), a permanent reline will be required that is not included in the initial cost of your dentures.
