Frequently Asked Questions
YES! We Follow The Current Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide!
Yes, we do offer direct billing, also called assignment. Please confirm your dental plan allows for this.
Benefits change from time to time, so it’s important to make sure you know what your plan covers. As a result, we cannot provide you with a guaranteed estimate unless we have submitted a pre-treatment estimate before your treatment.
Our estimates are based on the most recent information we have on file. If you’re concerned about exactly what costs you’ll be responsible for, simply ask about our ‘Pre-Treatment Estimate.’
A Pre-Treatment Estimate gives you the approximate cost of the treatment. Upon request, we’ll file this paperwork with your insurance provider before any work being done. While this may delay your treatment, you’ll know what (if any) out-of-pocket costs you may be required to pay.
We require payment in full at the time of treatment for non-assignment or non-insurance claims. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Interac (Debit). If you require a payment plan, please ask us about iFinance.
We’re happy to put together a detailed treatment plan with the associated costs clearly outlined so that you can budget for each appointment accordingly. We can also rank treatments so that you can deal with the most pressing treatments right away and deal with the not-so-pressing treatments over time.
Yes, we offer a complimentary meet and greet appointment with our team so you can get an office tour and be introduced to your Northern Hills Dentist. We also offer complimentary Invisalign Clear Aligner 3D scans with no obligation.
Our Calgary Invisalign dentist will take x-rays, pictures, and digital impressions of your teeth. From these images, we will map out a treatment plan, which includes the proposed movement of your teeth. This 3-D imaging technology is detailed, and we’ll even be able to show you what your teeth will look like at each stage of treatment, not just the end!
The Invisalign aligners are made of a smooth, comfortable, BPA-free plastic that won’t irritate your cheeks and gums as traditional metal braces can. Simply wear your Calgary Invisalign aligners as instructed, and remove them when you eat or brush and floss your teeth.
Invisalign treatment varies by the case. Typically treatment takes about nine months for adults. For teens, the length of treatment can be comparable to that of braces but can also be shorter. For the best results, Invisalign aligners must be worn for 20 to 22 hours per day throughout your entire treatment.
Invisalign can treat several dental concerns such as: Overly Crowded Teeth, Spaced Teeth, and Crossbite.
